Not Motivated. Why not?
What motivates you about being in sales: meeting new people and helping them solve their problems, making good money, working in a fast-paced environment, being flexible with your time and schedule or being challenged by a rapidly changing market place?
What are the components of sales that motivate you each day to get out of bed and do your best work?
Whatever your reason or reasons might be, they define your attitude and your outlook on life. What motivates you helps develop your confidence. Your confidence is reflected in your tone of voice and body language. It will also influence how your prospects and clients feel about doing business with you.
Set aside some time and understand what motivates you about sales. At times it is easy to lose focus on what charges you up and gets you excited. Focus on why you do what you do each day. Your why will become a daily affirmation that will keep you out of negative thought patterns and develop a healthy attitude and outlook that will be heard and felt by everyone you come in contact with.
When your “Why” is strong enough, everything else is easy. Why do you get out of bed each day?
