A couple of weeks ago I received a call from Joe, a prospect. I had never spoken to Joe before. One of the first questions I always ask is, “Joe, how did you hear about me?” I was blown away by his response. Joe said, “I overheard you last week while you were meeting with someone at iCafe. You were sharing with him your expertise on prospecting and how you help salespeople get in the door. I could really use your help.”
Three observations. One, you never know who is listening. Two, are you really clear about what you want your prospects to know about you? Three, there is no shortage of prospects.
