One of the cornerstones for success in sales is enthusiasm. Are you enthusiastic about what you are selling?
Where does enthusiasm come from? For me it comes from my “why”. In beginning of my sales career my “why” was the money. I was tired of being broke. I was motivated by money. Today my “why” is all about helping you Connect, Educate and Engage with your prospects and customers. However, I can't help you unless I improve myself daily. I will discuss more about personal development in next weeks episode.
In my favorite book it says, “Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before Kings, he will not stand before unknown men.”
Are you struggling in sales? How do you expect your prospects and customers to be interested in what you are selling if you don't put some excitement into what you are saying? I believe that enthusiasm in one the greatest single factors to becoming successful in sales. Force yourself to act enthusiastic and you can't help becoming enthusiastic.
