My special guest this week is Wendy Blomseth. Wendy has been networking since 1999. As a former small business owner and now an Account Executive with the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, she learned the importance of making connections, giving recommendations, offering referrals and being engaged in social media over the course of an extraordinary career.
Where do you find strategic networking events to attend?
In this episode you will learn:
- How to network
- How to start a conversation
- How to be strategic
- Plus so much more!!!
A lifelong learner, Wendy has completed a dozen programs and courses in sales and marketing since she graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in Communications. In turn, she has presented dozens of business development seminars at the Business Journal. While seminar titles vary, they each share how to leverage networking strategies. As an example of her consummate networking ability, Wendy was recognized with the 2012 Connector Award from Women in Networking (W.I.N.) for her dedication to helping others make meaningful connections and openly bringing people together in a selfless manner. She has also been honored with a Luminary Award from NAWBO and has been cited as Employee of the Month by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal for her sales success nationally. Wendy is passionate about connecting you to Twin Cities networkers, connections, events and opportunities.
