One of the biggest mistakes salespeople make is operating out of their heads.

Welcome to The Prospecting Expert Video Training Series! To get us started the next few coaching sessions are going to focus on planning, organization, and discipline, all very important practices of a sales professional. Disorganization is costly. Let's say disorganization costs you, on average, an hour a day. Multiply that by how much an hour of your time is worth. Over a year's span, the cost is thousands of dollars. Most sales people operate by the seat of their pants. The rare few are successful at this approach. The rest of us suffer in a fast-paced profession because we are inefficient at what we're doing and how we're doing it.
We give ourselves a lot of excuses for not learning time management. The one we probably use most often is ‘we don't have time'. And yet we waste so much of it every day, month, and year because we aren't organized. It results in poor work habits and procrastination and that eventually erodes our confidence because we're stressed out, cannot reach our full potential and don't know why. If you have this problem, learning effective organizational skills that dictate how each days flows may be the solution. Creating task lists, organizing your office, keeping track or your daily activity, planning time to prospect, email, explore social media networking, and more, will all be important and rewarding steps toward reaching your goals and realizing the success you envision.
