One of the first things I ever heard Jim Rohn say was “If you change, the results will change for you” Those words came at a truly perfect time, and resonated with me. At that time, everything I knew and understood was a mess. The year before I had filed for bankruptcy; everything was lost, and I knew that a colossal train wreck was the best way to describe the situation. Everyone around me was blamed for where I was and each one of them guilty in my own eyes. The only one missing from the guilty list was myself. I was the problem, and from that moment on, I wanted to become the solution.
I started to make small changes in my life. Little by little, those words from Jim Rohn, and my actions had a significant impact on where I was, and where I am today. I can’t say that it was easy because if I did once again I would be in the delusional world I was once in. Instead when I found myself blaming others, I remembered the words of Jim Rohn. Each day is a new day it becomes a new challenge to overcome but one that I can now embrace.
So if you see your life spiraling out of control, and you see the train wreck coming, ask yourself, what changes are you willing to make.
