The whole world is a stage. You never know when you will be asked to perform. I believe that opportunities come to those who are prepared to receive those opportunities. You can't wait until the conditions are just right. Guess what? The conditions are never right. As in the case of Ted Williams. The homeless man with a million dollar voice. He went from being homeless one day to one of the most sought after voices on the planet.
So what does this have to do with prospecting? Everything! Each time you approach a prospect or customer are you prepared to give a performance of a lifetime? If you were presenting a million dollar solution to a client or potential client how much time would you spend preparing? Probably hours. Remember this, being casual leads to casualty.
Are you prepared?
