I want to share an experience that my wife Jane and I recently had on a trip to Watertown, South Dakota to surprise our son Joshua. I would like to introduce you to the amazing staff at the Hampton Inn & Suites (from left to right) Lynn, Greg and Wanda!
My son Joshua lives in Watertown, South Dakota. He is the resident musician at the Goss Opera House. By the way, he is not an opera singer. He is an amazing gifted songwriter, singer and guitar player. My wife Jane and I typically go see our son a couple times a year. The first time we went to see him we really didn’t know where to stay. We did the usual google search, read some reviews, tossed a few names in a hat and away we went. You never know what to expect when you get into a new situation.
Our first experience at the Hampton Inn & Suites was off the charts. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The staff was warm and friendly and the free breakfast was amazing. I wasn’t sure if it was a fluke and we caught them on a good day or if this really was what we could experience each time we stayed.
Last Thanksgiving we made another trip. The experience was incredible, along with an upgrade to the King Suite. We weren’t in our room five minutes and the phone rang. It was Greg on the other end asking us how we like the room and if everything was satisfactory.
Last week we wanted to surprise our son so we called ahead and made a reservation. Again, the experience was incredible. We received friendly service with a smile and had a five star experience.
When you have an amazing experience as a customer, whether in a restaurant, hotel, grocery or department store, you come back again and tell others about it. Great experiences are worth talking about.
If you are ever passing through Watertown, South Dakota and you want a great place to stay the Hampton Inn & Suites is the place, hands down. And while you are there and you want to hear some great music and catch a bite to eat, check out Charlie's Restaurant at the Goss Opera House.
