When you contact a prospect or customer are they listening to you? Or, are you repeating what you already know? Prospects don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Stop throwing up all of your listener. Engage your audience by asking great questions. Not the same questions that everyone else is asking. But questions that really makes your listener think and ponder. Let them talk. Remember this, the person who speaks the least, learns the most. I love this lyric from one Simon & Garfunkel's songs, “A man hears what he wants to hear and discards the rest.”
Who's listening?
